Maintenance Crew Member – Full-Time

Minidoka Irrigation District is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Maintenance Crew Member. This position performs a variety of hands-on maintenance, construction, equipment operation, and repair work to help keep the District’s irrigation system and facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Duties may include maintaining and repairing canals, laterals, drains, pipelines, roads, and water control structures; operating heavy equipment; removing vegetation and debris; performing basic mechanical repairs; and assisting with seasonal water operations and emergency response.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Experience with construction, irrigation systems, heavy equipment, welding, or fabrication is preferred. A Class A CDL and professional pesticide applicator license are also preferred qualifications.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with compensation in accordance with the District’s current wage schedule. Extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call availability may be required during irrigation season.
