Keep Idaho Water, Washington DC Report
Senator Kevin Cook, Vice Chair of the Idaho Senate Education Committee and an active member of the Finance and Resources & Environment Committees, joined a broad delegation of Idaho leaders in Washington, D.C., to advance a unified vision for the state’s water future. Representing legislators, mayors, farm organizations, and both surface and groundwater users, the group delivered thousands of signatures and widespread statewide support for major long-term water projects.
Their message to Idaho’s federal delegation was clear:
Idaho is ready to build the storage, recharge, and infrastructure needed to secure its water resources for the next generation.
